Expanding on the success of the D-air platform, the airbag system has been augmented, covering from the neck, shoulders and collarbone and wrapping around the lower rib cage. The Dainese Mugello R D Air Race Suit features a seamless-integrated LED interface with the patented Intelligent Emergency Lighting System, which is triggered directly by the sophisticated  D-air on-board computer's algorithm. The Mugello R D-air touts enhanced comfort and protection, utilizing an adaptive knee construction, more compliant tri-axial elastics and engineered textiles.The slider construction has been completely re-engineered, introducing an optimized slider shape and a quick release system.
